The course is divided into three structured stages, offering a complete learning experience — from flexible online lessons, to live sessions with experts, and real-world hands-on practice.
Stage 1 – Self-Paced Online Learning (7 Lessons)
Study at your own pace through our dedicated e-learning platform.
Each lesson ends with a simple completion quiz – no grades, no stress, and unlimited retakes at no additional cost.
You’ll master the core foundations every personal trainer needs, including:
Stage 2 – Live Online Expert Sessions (6 Modules)
This interactive stage features real-time online learning led by experienced instructors.
You choose the dates of your sessions from the available schedule on our website.
All modules must be completed within 12 months from enrolment.

Stage 3 – Personal Trainer Final Practice & Evaluation
This phase is the most crucial part of your journey — three days of hands-on experience with expert supervision:
Friday: 16:00 to club close
Saturday: 10:00–17:00
Sunday: 10:00–16:00
Camps are held in selected locations across Ireland, Europe, and beyond.
Training is conducted in English, or in the local language where possible.
This final step brings together everything you’ve learnt — and is required to receive your international personal trainer certificate.
The Personal Trainer (EQF level 4) Diploma examination will take place on the last day of the course, as specified in the course schedule below.

The PFS NUTRITION ADVISER examination is designed to help understand all the information contained in the course and it consists of:
We assess our students using an end-of-term multiple-choice questionnaire consisting of 64 questions, after the completion of real-life case studies and a practical class using body-fat calipers.
Students are given impromptu pop tests throughout the course to flag any areas of difficulty so every student gets all the help and support they need to successfully complete this course.
