  COURSE DATES

Developed by experienced fitness specialists, the program is the only training program that includes elements of rolling, self-massage, and pressure. The program is adapted to 60-minute lessons and for use in personal training, divided into 3 parts - different from the standards adopted so far: 

Class structure - 3 parts of the class: 

Part one:

Proprioception - what is it? (12 minutes in each class).

What is the motor unit?

Stimulating the central and peripheral nervous system, how to do it properly?

Elements of fascia training, why, and when to introduce? 

Part two: 

SMR (auto-massage)/Trigger Point Treatment  (18 minutes in each class)

Is it safe for everyone, does everyone know how to do it properly? 

Part three: 

This is our patented project: working on mobility and flexibility, the main part

(5 sequences of joint mobilization + stretching 5 min each area worked)

Every 6 weeks, a new lesson is introduced, which allows you to see the progress of your participants continuously. Improvement in mobility is seen very quickly. This progression also allows you to focus more on those parts of the body that require more work.

Once qualified, every 6 weeks our instructors will receive:

A new set of exercises, specially designed for maximum benefit, along with video and music adapted to the nature of the exercises.

Additionally, our accredited instructors receive a set of marketing tools along with a package of promotional materials.

 

myover40® is a course aimed at Fitness Instructors, Personal Trainers, Gym Instructors and Pilates, Yoga, Physiotherapists, and Rehabilitation Instructors. 

The condition for joining the training is having the qualifications confirmed by REPs or other competent institutions verifying the qualifications.

 

PERMISSIONS

Qualification in this course entitles you to use the title: myover40 Instructor.

 

myover40 Instructors have the right to:

- use of the myover40 logo within the agreed scope

- conduct classes under the name myover40 in any place (including fitness clubs, health centers, recreation and rehabilitation centers, hotels, individual classes, etc.)

- use of the myover40.pl, myover40.com, tpmobility.com platforms

- participate in filming for the myover40.pl, myover40.com platforms

- use of promotional materials and myover40 marketing tools. (supplied)

 

 

 

 

 

Participants in myover40 training must be a minimum of 18 years of age with basic fitness qualifications. 

The condition for obtaining the authorization of the

Myover40 ® Program Instructor is to have

REPs Ireland accreditation at EQF3 level (Fitness Instructor, Gym Instructor) or EQF4 (Personal Trainer). 

Accredited certification in any profession I.e Yoga /Pilates Instructor, Physical/Physio Therapist, Massage Therapist etc... with a good working knowledge of anatomy will also be accepted.

Myover40®Course Plan

SELF-STUDY PART - 16 hours

Anatomy & Physiology with extension into what changes occur within systems over time

FACE TO FACE course – 6.5 hours

 

Teacher to students, preparation, getting acquainted building a relationship 10 min 

1-2 welcoming and introducing the trainers

3-4 presenting the outline of the day 

4-10 Brief the participants by asking what they expect from the course and trainers.

 

Anatomy & Physiology with the addition of, the changes that occur in the given systems over the years. Recommendations and contraindications 10 min

What is the difference between mobility and flexibility? 10 min 

3 examples to understand the differences. Definition of "mobility" and "flexibility" and differences, the use of examples of movements, dangers resulting from neglecting mobility of joints and movements in them, appropriate starting positions. 

 

Body positioning in strengthening and static stretching 20 min

1 -1.5 min per joint with exception of: shoulder joint 2 minutes, costovertebral joint 3 minutes, hip joint 3 minutes.

Fascia - function, symptoms of fascial disorders 130 min

What is fascia 10 minutes 

Fascial Training, for whom and why 10 minutes 

ANATOMY AND BIOMECHANICS backbones fascial, together with examples of motor 40 minutes 

Main principles, which are guided in fascial  training 10 minutes

Fascial CHAINS  in motion practice 60 minutes 

 

Trigger point/ SMR; AUTOMASSAGE / foot acupressure 120 min 

What is a trigger point?

Until what point should we massage? What are the objections?

Can all parts of the body be stimulated?

The final examination will take place after the last day of the course. 

 The myover40 examination is designed to help understand all the information contained in the course and it consists of:

We assess our students using an end-of-term multiple-choice questionnaire consisting of 72 questions (pass mark 75%), after the completion of real-life case studies.

Students are given impromptu pop tests throughout the course to flag any areas of difficulty so every student gets all the help and support they need to successfully complete this course.

 Upon the completion of the course and successful passing of the exam; you are entitled to use the title: MyOver40 Instructor.

Important

 

Completion of the course, qualification, and permission to teach this course,is confirmed by the myover40 Instructor certificate.

The certificate can be downloaded online directly from your own profile at www.myover40.com, which you, the instructor,  will set upon completion of the requirements stated. 

Accreditation

All our courses are accredited by REPs Ireland and recognised worldwide through ICREPs.

All PFS qualifications meet industry standards that have been developed and published by the European Health & Fitness Association (EHFA).

REPs Ireland ensures that all standards used are mapped to and meet all appropriate International standards where possible, to ensure all REPs Ireland members benefit from recognition of their status from other National REPs.

Payment rules 

  • We operate on a first come, first serve basis with no exceptions.
  • To secure your place on the course the payment should be made upon registration.
  • We allow 5 calendar days to receive payment before your place is given to another person that has paid.
  • After 5 calendar days have passed, and we haven't received any payment, you will need to register again if places are still available.
  • There is no way to prolong the 5 calendar days. Registrations are not accepted if you have already registered and the initial 5 days have not elapsed.
  • If we have received a late Early Bird payment (i.e. you registered for Early Bird but we haven't received payment within 5 calendar days) you will be liable for the Normal Price as outlined in our Terms & Conditions. No exceptions will be made.
  • If you have signed up at the Normal Price or Early Bird price and we haven't received the full amount from you before the start of the course, then you will be subject to Instalment payments.
