My name is Ania Crick, and I have been a certified Barre instructor for seven years now, although my journey with this form of movement began over eight years ago. I have twenty years of experience working in the fitness industry, which I gained primarily in the United States, where I completed studies in Fitness Technology. After earning my degree, I worked as a personal trainer in a small boutique gym, where in addition to personal training I also taught small-group fitness classes.
I was encouraged to try Barre by my physiotherapist when, after the birth of another child, I experienced serious lower back problems, a weak pelvic floor, and constant pain—despite exercising regularly.
And that is how Barre became my passion. While living in Oregon, I had the opportunity to try many different studios and teaching methods (there are plenty of them in the U.S., specializing exclusively in Barre), and in 2020 I earned my official Barre instructor certification.
I have created a barre instructor training course that is easy to apply and change up depending on the needs of our clients and also have an online platform to help with programming new classes and workout as well.
I teach classes in both Polish and English language for large and small groups, as well as provide individual training sessions for various types of clients (including teenagers) in Wrocław, Poland.
I believe my most important role as an instructor is to motivate and support participants, provide clear instruction and modifications, and ensure that those 55 or 45 minute sessions are used as effectively as possible. My main interest is women’s health, and I have professional training as a personal trainer,I strive to design exercises tailored to this population. I follow the latest scientific research and create individualized training programs for my small groups.
