Miriam Marrero Martin is a sports and fitness professional originally from Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain, with a lifelong connection to sport and physical activity. She has been involved in sport since the age of four, developing a strong athletic foundation that continues to shape her professional career. She spent fourteen years as a synchronized swimming athlete, taking part in regional and national competitions. This extensive competitive background provided her with a deep understanding of discipline, teamwork, and technical excellence in aquatic sports. After completing her competitive years, Miriam transitioned into coaching, working as a synchronized swimming coach for competitive clubs while also teaching swimming. After moving to Ireland, she continued her path in aquatic sports and has now accumulated nine years of experience as a swimming instructor. Alongside her work in the pool, she expanded her career into the fitness industry, obtaining professional certifications and gaining experience in Pilates, AquaFit, and Indoor Cycling. Committed to continuous learning and professional development, she has recently qualified as a certified Personal Trainer. As an instructor, Miriam is known for her positive attitude, professionalism, and ability to motivate and support students of all levels, creating a safe, engaging, and encouraging learning environment.
