Richard Bryant

ProFi Fitness School Teacher

My name is Richard Bryant and I am a qualified Personal Trainer and Level 4 Strength and Conditioning Coach. I have always had a passion for Coaching/Teaching and i love watching people grow by guiding them in the right direction. My background sport is mainly rugby and when I was living in the UK I played both Rugby League and Rugby Union to a good standard. I also coached Rugby League for 2 years where I helped take Aberystwyth University to their first ever Student Plate Championship title. I qualified as a personal trainer in 2018 and began my PT career working in David Lloyd gym in Liverpool and since moving to Ireland in August 2019 I have worked in a couple of different gyms until I settled into Crixus Fitness Gym in Fermoy.
In 2021 i was working as a Strength and Conditioning Coach for Ballysaggart Hurlers and I am currently working with Mitchelstown Gaelic Football as a S&C Coach. Outside of being a strength and conditioning coach I have built up a reputable Personal Training Portfolio with a regular base of clients and Group exercise classes. Although my specialty is Strength and Conditioning i also hold qualifications in the following areas:
- Qualified Olympic Lifting Instructor
- Spinning Instructor
- Les Mills Bodypump Instructor
- Exercise for Pre and Post Natal qualification
- level 2 award for delivering exercise to Children and Adolescents
- Functional Equipment Training Qualification
- Nutrition and Weight Management
- Complete Kettlebell Trainer
- Circuit Training
- GP Exercise Referral
My next mission is to become a qualified Crossfit Coach and to help with this experience I have volunteered as a judge at a number of Crossfit Competitions in Ireland.
