We work on a very simple training philosophy: to achieve your fitness goals you need to train as HARD as you can for as LONG as you can while maintaining GOOD FORM. Within RT24 a Bad Rep is a No Rep.

We have designed the classes so that they meet specific training goals:

  • burn fat,
  • increase muscle mass,
  • improve movement patterns, and
  • strengthen cardio vascular fitness.

This is achieved by creating a flexible class which combines two different styles of training. RT24 programmes use a resistance that is unique and specific to the users training age and capabilities whether this be Body Weight, light resistance or heavy resistance loads.  The volume of training in an RT24 class is high, and when you combine high volume resistance training along with the principles of HIIT training you can start to see how RT24 is built for achieving its results.





Learning the basic RT24 movements

Observing, assessing and correcting form and posture

Supporting participant performance, engagement and adherence

Training in access, utilisation and development of RT24 technology resource packages

Tracking client performance and progress

Progression, regression and adaptation to support participant performance and engagement

Accessing instructor support, training, resources and CPD Marketing and business planning and support


Learning Outcomes


  • To understand the science behind HIIT, Resistance and Functional Training


  • Ability to take a RT24 warmup


  • Understand the theory behind the RT24 class formats


  • Able to demonstrate, regress and progress RT24 movements


  • Understand the principles that are expected of a RT24 coach

To register for the RT24 Coaching Course learners must hold a minimum of:

  • Level 2 Fitness Instructor
  • Level 2 Exercise to Music


• Level 2 Certificate in Instructing Circuit Training Session (or other relevant group exercise qualification)


  • Level 3 Certificate/Diploma in Personal Training

Who should attend

Applicants should have a keen interest in HIIT training and have the capability to demonstrate all moves needed to complete a RT24 class.

Although not required,  we would recommend taking part in RT24 classes prior to joining the course

  • A change of clothes
  • Bottle of Water
  • Gym gear
  • Stable shoes
  • Lunch & Snacks
  • Towel
  • Note Pad


Course hours that require 100% attendance: 8 hours day 

Both Practical and Written Exams will be held within Day 1



Students will be assessed on Day 2, this will include a written exam along side a short practical exam. The certificate will be awarded on the day, should the teacher decide otherwise, the student will be asked to return and take part in another RT24 course to complete the failed unit.


The Practical Exam will involve the student taking 3-6 min of a RT24 class.

The following aspects will be judged during the Practical Assessment.

- Health & Safety

- Physical Demonstration

- Verbal Cues

  • Motivational Cues
  • Ability to progress and regress movements
  • Personal attire, attitude and interpersonal skills


Certificate obtained: PFS RT24 Instructor

Study Mode: Participation in Class, Theory in Class and Practical in Studio

Examination: Required



Participants must have 100% attendance, have sufficient participation and pass the written and practical exam to receive the RT24 Instructor certification.

The Final Certification is given in printed form and enables the participant to teach classes and get insured.
