The kettlebell originated in Russia and was popular in the U.S. decades ago but has hit a resurgence in the last few years with a flurry of classes, videos, and books. The reason? Kettlebells offer a different kind of training using dynamic moves targeting almost every aspect of fitness – Endurance, strength, balance, agility and cardio endurance.
PFS Kettlebell Course is designed for you. We have identified the fundamentals of kettlebell training and built this Course around them. Students will be taught essential skills, techniques, and principles by a small group.
We teach only a few fundamental skills in this 7.5-hour period. This allows us to ensure that all students leave with the ability to perform these movements and skills on their own, safely and effectively.
The kettlebell is a great tool to train with on your own. Incorporate the use of Kettlebells into your PT clients training and as well a small group!
But to do so, you must learn how to use it safely, efficiently, and effectively.
In our kettlebell instructor course, you will learn how to support your clients when lifting kettlebells, to ensure correct technical movement for safety and effectiveness.
You'll learn to deliver training in key kettlebell techniques, core movements, and workout structure, as well as being taught how to develop programmes designed for your clients’ unique needs.
PFS Kettlebell Course is ideal for newcomers to the kettlebell and also those who have been training but want to refine and perfect their technique. In other words, this Course provides a valuable education for people of all levels who want to optimize their training.
This course requires a recognised, valid and current Fitness Instructor or Gym Instructor qualification which is accredited and mapped at EQF Level 3 | NQF level 4* such as the PFS ADVANCED FITNESS CLASSES INSTRUCTOR or PFS ADVANCED GYM INSTRUCTOR. If you didn't qualify with us, a scanned copy of your certificate will be required in response to your registration confirmation email.

No examination is required.
If the course has been completed but the examination hasn't, the participant will receive a Certificate of Attendance and 8 REPs accredited CPD points. The final Certification will only be awarded after passing the repeat examination.
The final Certification is given in printed form and enables the participant to teach classes and get insured.

REPs Ireland ensures that all standards used are mapped to and meet all appropriate International standards where possible, to ensure all REPs Ireland members benefit from recognition of their status from other National REPs.
