Cardio, Agility and Plyometrics - all skills in one Certificate! Not to be missed!
Designed for those who wish to increase their knowledge and skills of cardiorespiratory training and energy system development and how to implement scientific rationale into conditioning their clients and for those who want to incorporate Agility and Plyometrics in the classes as well.
The information contained puts into perspective the fact that Circuit training (Intervals), HIIT and Aerobic training, were designed to improve athletic performance primarily, and not for commercial classes for gym goers. So often the industry focuses on making a class “fun”, and in doing so, burying the very scientific principles that dictate what works and what doesn’t.
The course is all about applied sports science and doesn’t focus on the commercial aspect of classes, rather it focuses on the science behind track training and how to plan activities correctly depending on the desired outcome, e.g. increases in Vo2, or endurance, or speed. With the agility aspect you will learn of the body's ability to change the position efficiently with the integration of isolated movement skills using a combination of balance, coordination, speed, reflexes, strength, and endurance. Plyometrics will cover form of exercises that involve rapid and repeated stretching and contracting of the muscles, designed to increase strength.
